In this version the double space and end-stops slow the reading and lend
a contemplative mood to the scene.
The line endings are a mixture of masculine and feminine.
(As you may have already noticed, my work does not scan predictably. This
is by design.)
Although the first 14 lines are what I would call an extended metaphor,

therefore tasteless.
The whole poem is heavy with personification.

there is a secondary meaning that is lost if one does not understand the
very real physical allusion here.
This

an abstract form or meaning.
